This is an outstanding book, which contains a trove of useful information for beginners and experts alike. Richly illustrated and very detailed, it takes the reader through wood selection, tool selection, safety, and showing the proper techniques for gripping the tools and sharpening them. It then leads the reader making a variety of useful woodenware such as bowls, spoons, and ladles. There is also a section devoted to finishing the work, fine-tuning it and sanding it to a proper finish. All in all, this is an outstanding resource. Roughly 8" x 10", with 135 pages.
