DeCicco Knife #4

We have started offering knives made by our customers, in the Scandinavian style and using traditional Scandinavian materials.  This is a stunningly beautiful knife from Fred DeCicco (click here for a brief biography).  Fred regrinds a Roselli UHC Carpenter blade to create a more graceful line then continues that line into the handle. Birch bark has been used as a traditional knife handle material in Scandinavia for generations.  After a brass bolster has been added, he combines birch bark, palm, and moose antler to create a unique knife that carries the line of the blade through the knife.

The pocket sheath contains a plastic blade liner and is formed individually to each knife from vegetable tanned cowhide.

Below are the detailed measurements of this knife. One important note: for best comfort and grip, the length of your middle finger should be similar to the circumference of the handle.
