Morkret Black Blade (C) is a knife with a full-tang blade in German carbon steel with a black DLC coating that protects against corrosion and reflections. A robust construction developed for bushcraft and survival—durable, hardwearing, and built for heavy use in the field. The 6.04-inch long, 0.17-inch thick blade is made from a new German carbon steel (100Cr6) with a higher chromium content, giving it improved toughness and slightly increased corrosion resistance. The black DLC coating provides additional protection against corrosion while reducing reflections. The blade has a hardness of 58 HRC, and the edge runs all the way into the handle, allowing you to work closer to the material with improved control and power transfer. The new High Flat grind with a secondary bevel provides more steel behind the edge for added strength and durability during heavy use.
