The Roselli Opening Knife is a gut hook, which is used to slice hides from the inside, because they're less likely to get bound up with fur or other debris from the hide's exterior. This one has a blunt tip, to reduce the chance of puncturing internal organs and making a mess. This long time favourite with its rounded tip is a reliable blade for safely and cleanly opening any game from deer to large moose. Made from high-carbon steel.
Here are the fittings that this blade can be paired with, based on the sizes of the blade, tang, and slot. Any fitting labelled "might be too small/big" will still fit the blade, but might not be a good match depending on the style of knife that you're making.
