Condor Pictus Knife

CTK394161HC

The Pictus knife is a large, wide, heavy full-tang knife, designed in the style of the Celtish Picts, who lived in Northern Scotland from ancient times up until around the 10th century. The blade is made from 1095 high-carbon steel, and has Celtic knotwork engraved the entire length of the blade. The hickory handle features similar engraving, and is held onto the thick tang with brass rivets.

The hardened leather sheath has a variety of extra features, including stamped and carved artwork, a holder for a fire steel, three loops along the back for horizontal carry, a pouch for the three arrowheads which come with the knife, and a belt loop attached with a metal ring which allows the knife to swing freely and keep out of the way when you're crouching or sitting.
