The Lappland Puukko is the traditional utility knife of the Sami people. Its design has evolved over the centuries into one of the most versatile and functional knives in existence today. This is a stunningly gorgeous all-around camp or utility knife, featuring a long, medium-width stainless steel blade lightly inscribed with the Iisakki Järvenpää signature. The handle is made from stacked layers of birch bark, polished smooth. The pommel of this knife is cast in the shape of the head of a boxer dog. The handle also has a wide inset of antler between the birch bark and the bolster. When you hold this knife in your hand, you can feel the solid construction and high quality.

The sheath is nicely detailed, it contains a plastic liner to prevent the very sharp blade from slicing through, and the belt loop is attached by a metal D-ring so that it swings freely and keeps out of the way when you're crouching or sitting.

This is quite an attractive piece and would make a great gift for any outdoors enthusiast!
