The theme of Marttiini’s 2026 Annual Knife draws its inspiration from Finland, also known as “The Land of a Thousand Lakes.”
The name Järvi – meaning “lake” in Finnish – captures Finland’s deep connection with its waters. The knife’s design reflects the tranquillity of the country’s countless lakes, the shimmer of clear waters, and the long-standing traditions of fishing.
The reflective laser engravings on the blade and bolster highlight subtle details and enhance the knife’s elegant character. Each Järvi Fillet is individually numbered and comes in a genuine black leather sheath, decorated with a lake-inspired pattern printed in blue foil.
