BRISA Nessmuk 125 Full-Tang Knife

32085

The Nessmuk knife is based on the design of famous 19th century outdoorsman George Washington Sears, who wrote magazine articles using the pen name "Nessmuk."  An avid believer in ultralight trekking and only packing the bare minimum in supplies, Nessmuk designed this to be the one knife that you would need for anything:  gutting, skinning, chopping firewood, building a canoe, or building a shelter.  It features a very impressive full-tang blade with a distinctive profile, with sandwiching layers of stabilized curly birch wood forming a good, stout handle.  The stabilized wood is exceptionally beautiful.  The sheath has an interesting dual-carry option:  a second belt loop is attached with a metal ring to the primary belt loop which is stitched onto the sheath.  This allows for carrying the sheath firmly attached to your belt with the primary loop, or swinging more freely using the second loop.
