The name of the Trelken Knife is a derivation of the original native word, adapted by the designer, inspired by the term “Trelkenentúnâ€, which in the language of the tribe “Araucanosâ€, inhabitants of southern Chile, means “to remove the leather from an animal.†This lightweight knife is perfect for small crafts or as a general purpose utility knife. The very thin blade features a sawtooth design on the back.
